This is my blog. It started life on Windows Live Spaces several years back. It is my online diary, where I have shared bits about my life. When it began, Mom was in the early stages of Alzheimer’s and my father was caring for her at home. She passed away on 3/7/10, quietly and in her sleep at home. My father went to join her on 7/24/10 after 2 months in the hospital and rehab. I miss them both, but know that they are now together. My adventures continued as I dealt with the estate. I sorted and cleared out stuff from my childhood home, which my parents lived in since the early 1950s – before my birth. After a pretty extensive renovation, the house sold in October of 2011.
I live with my lovely wife, Pennie, and we have 3 dogs and 1 cat at our house. My step-daughter and our granddaughters live about 6 hours away, so we don’t see them enough. I spend lots of time on the computer, at work and at home, often helping people with computer problems. I have been honored with a Microsoft MVP award since October, 2004. Besides computers and technology, I collect Nightmare Before Christmas items and Living Dead Dolls. I enjoy all kinds of music, but mostly New Wave, Electronic, Gothic, and Indie styles.
